Top Ten Tuesday: 2021 Releases I Was Excited to Read But Didn’t Get To

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week, a topic is provided. You are free to give it your own spin and to write down less or more than ten things.

Book Review: We Used To Be Friends by Amy Spalding

A book that was on my TBR for a few years now, since it’s release in 2020, is We Used To Be Friends by Amy Spalding. However, this is that kind of book that is there, but I kept forgetting about. When I was looking for an audiobook to listen to, I came across this one and decided it was finally time to take it of the huge TBR. Was this a good choice?

Book Review: A Pinch Of Magic (A Pinch Of Magic #1) by Michelle Harrison

A few months ago, I stumbled upon A Pinch off Magic by Michelle Harrison. This happened when the Dutch edition of this book came out. I never heard about this book before. I have read the book in Dutch though and I was really surprised by it. Was this as magical as I expected it to be beforehand?

Book Review: The Bridge Kingdom (The Bridge Kingdom #1) by Danielle L. Jensen

A few months ago, it was announced that The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen will be translated into Dutch in spring 2022. This got me curious, because the title sounded familiar. However, I never looked into this book. Fortunately for me, it was inclued in the Audible Plus catalogue, so I could listen to it for free.

Book Review: Something To Talk About by Meryl Wilsner

A few months ago, Something To Talk About by Meryl Wilsner got released in Dutch. I had never heard of them before, let alone of their book. Also, I have to admit that I was not that interested at first, as I noticed myself getting tired of the fake dating trope. This changed after reading a review from a Dutch blogger who stated that this book gives of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo vibes. Well, that sparked my interest. I prioritized this book on my TBR and I have no regrets.
